TLDR: roomie health bad, all disabled & struggling to keep afloat, cost-of-living breakdown, asking for mutual aid, offering new commission types, experimenting, goals for art improvement, asking for patron & commissioner feedback, pricing changes, sappy artist time, etc. Unfortunately, the doctors sent my roomie home from that surgery too early. He got a fever (for the last 2 weeks) and the surgery site got infected. Last week he had to go back to the hospital for ANOTHER surgery to fix the infected area & re-close wounds that opened & weren't healing right. It was his 3rd surgery this month. On top of that, I got really sick this past week & was largely unable to work or do my basic household duties. I'm still feeling sick but am on the mend.

HELLO y’all! So, today was my roommate/friends surgery, and it all went well!! He’s gonna be in the hospital for several more days, and then hopefully will be home to recover in his own bed. That being said, I also want to warn that I do NOT have access to my computer until Jan 4th. I have my phone and iPad, so I will continue to work on YCH’s and responding to email as much as I can! I believe I only have 2 pieces that are too big for my iPad to handle, so those will have to wait until I get back. Lastly, when it comes to Patreon WIP’s, I’ve been having trouble with the app. No matter what file type I export images in, they always seem to turn into HEIC’s when I bring them into the Patreon app. I will try to figure this out, but will probably be posting Google drive links to WIP’s.
